The creative potential is always available. Sometimes it flows easily, other times it comes like a bolt of lightning~flash of insight. But most creative results occur as a result of doing – of picking up the clay, or priming the canvas. Rather than waiting for the flash of inspiration, the artist simply keeps creating, solving problems, working through the frustrations and challenges that are inherent in the creative endeavor. That cycle of challenge and reward -- disaster and jubilant recovery -- this is why we keep making art ~ anywhere, any medium . . . anytime arts.
