Cynthia has worked extensively in the field of art conservation on a wide variety of projects. She is a member of AIC, the umbrella organization for the field of fine art conservation and historic architectural preservation.
Anytime Arts works in conjunction with Norton Arts on conservation projects, large and small. Services available range from the conservation of single works, such as paintings and objects, for individual clients, to large scale projects for universities, museums, and corporate entities. For more information, you can contact Cynthia Dollard or visit nortonarts.com. Any questions or inquiries pertaining to the field of art conservation are most welcome.
Areas of Cynthia’s specialization include project management, conservation assessment and planning, including onsite assessment, documentation, and oral and written presentation. Other areas of expertise are painting conservation as well as paper conservation.
She believes that honoring and preserving historic art and architecture greatly strengthens art work created today, and that some of her greatest teachers have been the brush strokes created by the hand of great artists that she has carefully matched when in-painting.
